Numerology is the study of the numbers to determine their influence on one’s life.
Numbers have a very important place in our life. Be it the number of your mobile phone, your social security, your credit card, your license, your ATM or your employee card. All these numbers are really important for you and if you lost any of them you’ll find yourself in deep trouble.
In fact the world will come to a halt if it forgets the use of numbers. No calculation will be possible in the absence of numbers.

Some basic points
In numerology, people are categorised on the basis of their date of birth. For example those who are born on 1st, 10th, 19th or 28th of any month, they are known as Number 1 people because if we add the respective numbers of these digits they all come down to one.
Let’s see
Number 10 has two digits 1 & 0.
1 + 0 = 1
Number 19 has two digits 1 & 9.
1 + 9 = 10, 1+0= 1
Number 28 has two digits 2 & 8
2 + 8 = 10, 1+0 = 1.
Similarly those who are born on 2nd, 11th, 20th or 29th of any month, they are known as Number 2 People.
29, 2 + 9 = 11, 1 + 1 = 2
On the basis of above, you can calculate in which category you belong to.
For example if you are born of 27th of any month then by adding the two digits of 27 (i.e. 2 & 7) you can calculate that you belong to the category of Number 9 people.
(2+7 = 9) Got it ?
Collectively there are total of 9 categories of people starting from Number 1 people to Number 9 people.
Understanding the Cusp
This word ‘Cusp’ will also come many time during this section. So it is better to understand this cusp. Cusp denotes the first few days or last few days of a sun sign. When people says they are ‘on the cusp’ it means they were born either during the first few days or within the last few days of a sun sign. For example, someone born on 19 March, would be on the cusp of Pieces and Aries. As a result, they are a mixture of the characteristics of both signs. The start of Solar Year :
From astrological point of view it is considered that the true solar year commences with the Sun’s entrance into the Vernal or Spring Equinox on the 21st to the 23rd
day of March of every year, and appears to pass through each Sign of the Zodiac of 30 degrees each, one after the other, taking slightly under 365 1/4 days in so doing, making our year popularly accepted as 365 days.
The Earth, revolving once upon its own axis in each 24 hours, causes the whole of the 13 Signs of the Zodiac in their turn to pass over each portion of the Earth once each 24 hours. The Moon revolves round the Earth in a lunar month of 28 days. This wonderful mechanism is just like the hour-hand, minute-hand and second-hand of a clock.
Planets : Positive or Negative ?
You can also notice in the chart that the Planets have a Positive and Negative quality in accordance with the period of the Zodiac they rule. However, the positive and negative quality of a planet are not ‘good’ or ‘bad’ quality. Chaldean Numerology Method
The Chaldean method of numerology has its roots map back in ancient Babylon. This method is also closely related to the Indian Vedic system and the Hebrew mystics system of Kabbalah. The Chaldean system is not as current as the Pythagorean because it is a lot more difficult to master but it is considered to be more accurate. The Alphabet values are not as straight forward as other systems. This is based on the theory the every single letter has its own unique vibration and numbers are assigned with the letters based on their different values.
You will witness that in the Chaldean method no letter is assigned to the number 9. This reason the number nine is not musty is because the Chaldeans considered the number nine to be a very sacred and holy number, and so therefore needed to be kept apart from the rest.
The Chaldean method uses both your name and your birth date, but be aware that name you are best known by is the name you use. (If your name is Margret but you have been called Peggy for most of life then Peggy is the name you will use).
